The Danish Deployment Facility for Peace and Democracy, DFPD, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
This Association for members of the Danish Deployment Facility for Peace and Democracy, DFPD (in Danish: Udsendelsesfacilitet for Fred og Demokrati, UFD) was founded in 2001.
Its main purpose is to establish a network and shared platform for members.
The UFD association has a board of 7 member. The board follows the developments and are in close contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the administrative organization Niras, which includes regular meetings with the responsible staff members on recent developments, politics and the results of the focal point meetings in EU and OSCE, as well as questions regarding the election observer mission and the crises management missions.
As an active association the board organises seminars on relevant subjects, and hold the annual general assemply for all the members.
Besides this websit, the UFD association has a private Facebook group for members only.
The UFD association has an interest in having contact with similar associations in other countries.
